A heritage in red.
Long before Vijaya Enterprises existed as a name, our work in dry red chillies had already spanned a generation. Our founder, Dinesh Rao Balguri, grew up in his father's established chilli business — learning to read a lot by its colour, judge moisture by its rustle, and grade pods by their length and gloss before he ever signed an invoice.
Through his father's enterprise, Dinesh helped supply premium chilli to some of India's most recognised packaged-spice brands, including Aashirvaad and other leading domestic names. That experience — the discipline of a brand-grade supply chain combined with direct relationships at the mandi — is the foundation Vijaya Enterprises is built on.
In 2026, Dinesh founded Vijaya Enterprises as an independent company with a single focus: direct export of premium Indian dry red chillies to global buyers. No sub-agents, no middle layers, no compromises on grade. Just one Telangana-based house, answerable end-to-end for every container that leaves an Indian port under our name.
Where we source.
Our procurement radius covers the most respected chilli farm-belts in India — the Warangal and Khammam yards of Telangana, and the Guntur and Enkoor mandis of Andhra Pradesh. These are the geographies that define what an "Indian dry red chilli" tastes, smells, and looks like for the rest of the world.
We work with contract farmers and trusted commission agents who give us first-call on the cleanest, brightest lots before they hit the open auction. That access is not something a new buyer can build in a season — it's the dividend of a family name that has traded honestly in these yards for decades.
